ORDER

Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The Petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders based on the proceedings of the first respondent bearing Proc.No.B1/2398/2015, dated 07.10.2015 and to sanction and disburse the monetary benefits due to the petitioner as well as the Special Provident Fund payable to the petitioner along with interest within a stipulated time.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was serving in the Forest Department and he retired from service on 31.05.2015 on reaching the age of superannuation. Before retirement, the petitioner made a representation on 24.03.2015 to the first respondent to sanction and disburse the increment as well as the special provident fund payable to him. Based on the same, the first respondent recommended the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the petitioner vide proceedings, dated 07.10.2015. But, there was no response from the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders based on the proceedings of the first respondent bearing Proc.No.B1/2398/2015, dated 07.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
