2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The Petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent and third respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation, dated 14.05.2015 for sending family pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai, within a stipulated time.
4. The petitioner is the wife of one Natesan, who attained the age of superannuation on 30.06.1990 and died on 03.07.2007. Now the petitioner is running from pillar to post to get the family pension. Though the Accountant General recommended the same, the third respondent has not sent the pension proposal to the Treasury Office, who is the disbursing Authority of family pension. Hence, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents on 14.05.2015 to take action for sanctioning of pension as recommended by the Accountant General. As there is no response, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.
5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.05.2015 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
