This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.353 of 2017 dated 22.11.2017 registered on the file of the second respondent police.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2635 of 2018 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after passing the order by this Court, the respondent police has not filed a final report. Hence, the petitioner filed a contempt petition as against the second respondent police and the same is pending.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 353 of 2017 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.III, Tirunelveli.
5. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
