O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to give power supply connection to the petitioner's property in Door.No.372, Naganakulam Village, Narayanapuram Main Road, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai in S.No.384/2 in UDR Survey No.15/2K.

2. Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that in the earlier representation dated 02.12.2015 the petitioner has given wrong survey number and now https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner has given a fresh representation dated 29.01.2016 with correct Survey Number. It would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This order should not be construed as giving any positive direction to the respondents and the respondents pass orders, independently, depending on the facts and circumstances of the case.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
