ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner for the lands in Survey Nos.344/6, 38/6B, (UDR), 344/2B, 38/2B(UDR), 344/3, 38/3, (UDR), 344/7, 38/7(UDR), 38/6A, (UDR), 344/2C, 38/2C (UDR) which situate at Kallanthri 2nd bit, Thamarai Patty, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2019.

2.Heard Mr.M.Benazir Begum, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner, in order to get patta to the lands at Survey Nos. 344/6, 38/6B, (UDR), 344/2B, 38/2B(UDR), 344/3, 38/3, (UDR), 344/7, 38/7(UDR), 38/6A, (UDR), 344/2C, 38/2C(UDR), which situate at Kallanthri 2nd bit, Thamarai Patty, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, has given a representation on 08.04.2019 to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18454 of 2019 respondent. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2019 would be decided by the respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2019 and pass final order thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, by giving notice to them, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. "

7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
