Criminal original Petition filed under Section 482 of CR.P.C, Praying to call for the records in C.C.No.215/2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sivakasi and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

ORDER:

Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this court and the requisition letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivaksi vide the Letter D.No.44/2021. Dated 19/01/2021, and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.Prithiviraj, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.S.Chandrasekar,Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent 1, this court made the following order:

This Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed in Crl.OP(MD) No.2827 of 2018 on 25.09.2019. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi, has sought for further extension of time of four months.

2. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi in the letter in D.No.44/2021, dated 19.01.2021 addressed to the Registry of this Court.

3.In the circumstances, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi is directed to dispose of CC.No.215 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.
