Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing to the 1st respondent to disposed the original application in OA.No. 12 o f 2024 pending before the joint commissioner HR and CE department dindigul within time limit prescribed by this Hon'ble Court for Arulmigu Ayyankovil, Sri Karuppu Kovil situated at V.Kallapatti, Veppanuthu Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and pass such further or other orders as this Honble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing to the 1st respondent to disposed the original application in OA.No. 12 o f 2024 pending before the joint commissioner HR and CE department dindigul within time limit prescribed by this Hon'ble Court for Arulmigu Ayyankovil, Sri Karuppu Kovil situated at V.Kallapatti, Veppanuthu Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and pass such further or other orders as this Honble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice."
2. Heard Mr.M.Beema Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Rajagopalan, learned Government Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. The writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage without notice to the 2nd respondent. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter.
4. The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to dispose of Original Application No. 12 of 2024, pending on the file of the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Dindigul, as expeditiously as possible.
5. When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Government Standing Counsel would submit that the relief sought for by the writ petitioner will be considered and the same will be disposed of in accordance with law, if six months time is granted.
6. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to dispose of O.A.No.12 of 2024, on the file of the Joint Commissioner HR & CE Department, Dindigul, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order. No costs. 16.06.2026 rgm
