This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents-1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering his complaint, dated 29.11.2017.

2. The instant Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members. Now, after a period of one year, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action before the second respondent police. If any complaint received from the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider on merits and in accordance with law.
