ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2020 dated 18.01.2020 and file the final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.20 of 2020, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Section 427 and 109 IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of one and a half years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police seeks three months time to complete the investigation.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.20 of 2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
