O R D E R

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.) The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 01.04.2025 made in W.P.(MD) No. 6138 of 2025 wherein this Court has granted an order of interim stay for permitting the petitioner therein to register the document.

2. It is the allegation of the appellant that while the interim stay was in force in the writ appeal, the Registration Department proceeded to register the document.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submitted that W.P.(MD) No.6138 of 2025 was restricted to the registration of the document in S.No. 103/3 and S.No. 104. Therefore, the Registration Department, in compliance with the order passed by this Court, did not permit the registration of any document with regard to those survey numbers. However, registration was permitted with respect to other documents covered under W.P.(MD) No. 6139 of 2025.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, by mistake, no appeal was preferred against the order passed in W.P.(MD) No. 6139 of 2025.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, we find that the allegation of contempt has not been made out. However, the registration of the documents shall be subject to the outcome of the writ appeal.
