The petitioner seeks a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner from Madurai Central Prison to Visakahapattinam or to any one of the Central Prison in Andhra Pradesh.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that they would transfer the prisoner on getting the escort and the same will be done within a period of ten

(10) days from today.

4. Recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
