[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to provide pathway to the petitioner for reaching his dwelling house situated in Door No.2/52A, Kakkayakkon Street, Pattathikadu Panjayat, Thirumananjeri Post, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukottai District and to remove the illegal encroachment made by the seventh respondent in the common pathway in Survey No.87/39 of Pattathikkadu Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukottai District, based on his representation dated 17.09.2021 in accordance with law, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 a, on instructions, submitted that the subject land is nothing but a patta land and there is no encroachment, as projected by the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission and leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for any other relief, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
