Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to issue the corrected individual Semester Grade Sheets by correcting the Grade points of the Grade Sheet dated 11.01.2018 for grade point of 67 instead of Grade Point 10(VII and VIII Semesters) Consolidated Statement of Grade, Provisional Certificate and B.E., Degree Certificate of the petitioner who completed his Bachelor of Engineering Degree Course in the third respondent College for the academic year 2015-2018.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The writ petitioner studied B.E., degree course in the third respondent College. He had successfully passed out also. It is stated that the petitioner's marks were not correctly awarded for his seventh semester. Anna University is taking the stand that the application for correction along with 2/5
correct data was not submitted in time and it was also not given through proper channel.
3. The petitioner is therefore permitted to submit a fresh representation to the third respondent. The third respondent shall forward the same along with the relevant data to the second respondent. The second respondent will not return the proposal on the ground that it has been belatedly submitted. If the data given by the third respondent are otherwise in order, then the second respondent will issue a revised marks statement to the writ petitioner. The petitioner undertakes to submit a representation within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent will forward the proposal along with the relevant data to the second respondent within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter.
The second respondent shall take a call in the matter and dispose of the application within a period of four (4) weeks, after they receive the proposal from the third respondent. If the second respondent is satisfied that the case of the petitioner is well founded, then appropriate corrections shall be made, and a fresh degree certificate along with convocation certificate and corrected mark statement will be issued to the writ petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
