Heard Mr.Ilanchezian, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Counsel for the State. 2.The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.02.2021 and also the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 31.05.2021 in Mu.Mu.No.9431/2021/D1, which had been forwarded to the fourth respondent/Tahsildar, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindiugl. 3.The petitioner claims to run a Trust, by name, Rural Action Development and Research Trust (RADAR), which was started in the 1/3

year 2003 and also registered with the Sub Registrar, Sannarpatti. The petitioner claims that he has sufficient knowledge over the agricultural related studies. He wants to promote an educational institution by starting an Agricultural College. The petitioner claims allotment of 50 acres of land and in this connection, he had given a representation as aforesaid on 14.02.2021. 4.The third respondent/the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul District, had, by proceedings, dated 31.05.2021, referred to supra, also directed the fourth respondent/Tahsildar, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul, to examine the representation of the petitioner and pass an order in writing.

5.Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Counsel for the State had forwarded a copy of the report of the fourth respondent, dated 12.10.2021 in Na.Ka.No.2488/2021/B3, by which, for the reasons appended in the said order, the Tahsildar stated that it would not be possible to grant allotment of 50 acres of land for the benefit of petitioner herein.

6.A direction is given to the fourth respondent to communicate a copy of that particular order to the petitioner/Dr.A.Bharathi, Planning Officer, Planning Office, Nochiodaipatti, Koovanuthu Post, Dindigul District-624 003, on or before 30.11.2021 to the said address. The petitioner may, thereafter, take appropriate steps in the manner known to law.

7.Recording the same, since the relief sought by the petitioner does not survive any more, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, dismissal of this Writ Petition need not preclude the petitioner from taking any further steps in accordance with law questioning the order of Tahsildar, dated 12.10.2021. No costs.
