..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation dated 18.02.2016 and thereby accord permission to conduct the "Thiru.Ochathevar Memorial Kabadi Match State Vice President of Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam" and it is called as "MUK Kabadi Team, Mela Uppilikundu" in the eve of "Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam of State Vice President Ochathevar Memorial Kabadi Match" and to provide adequate police protection on 27.02.2016 from 07.00 p.m. to 28.02.2016 at 03.00 p.m. (Day and Night match) at Amma Vilayattu Thidal, Mela Uppilikundu, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation dated 18.02.2016 and thereby accord permission to conduct the "Thiru.Ochathevar Memorial Kabadi Match State Vice President of Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam" and it is called as "MUK Kabadi Team, Mela Uppilikundu" in the eve of "Moovendar Munnetra Kazhagam of State Vice President Ochathevar Memorial Kabadi Match" and to provide adequate police protection on 27.02.2016 from 07.00 p.m. to 28.02.2016 at 03.00 p.m. (Day and Night match) at Amma Vilayattu Thidal, Mela Uppilikundu, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. Without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration the antecedents of the petitioner and his capacity to conduct the tournament and all other factors including communal and law and order factors and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously. In the event of the authorities deciding to give permission, the same should include the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1474 of 2016 dated 22.01.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
