ORDER
The revised panel for the years 2004 - 2018 for the post of Tahsildar is put under challenge in the present writ petition. 2.The petitioners herein have given their objections / representations, dated 07.12.2021 and 15.12.2021 to the panel, before various Authorities including the District Collector, Tirunelveli, seeking for revision of the panel. The grounds raised in the writ petition is predominantly similar to the grounds raised in the 2/6
representations given to the District Collector for revision of the panel. When such representations are pending consideration, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallelly adjudicate such grounds. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the District Collector is called upon to dispose of the petitioners' representations, within a stipulated time. 4.I am of the view that if the District Collector is called upon to dispose of the representations, within a stipulated time and the petitioners' posts are protected till such time, the ends of justice could be secured. 5.In the result, no interference is required to the impugned order of promotion panel, dated 14.07.2022. However, there shall be a direction to the District Collector, Tirunelveli, to dispose of the petitioners' representations, dated 07.12.2021 and 15.12.2021, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents shall not revert the petitioners from the post of Deputy Tahsildar. 3/6
6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
