O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the impugned proceedings in S.C. No.442 of 2017 on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Court, Madurai as against the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that in this case already trial commenced by the trial Court and all the prosecution witnesses have been examined except the Investigation Officer and therefore, the entire proceedings cannot be quashed at this stage.

3. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, however liberty is granted to the petitioner to raise all the grounds before the trial Court. The learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai is directed to complete the trial, within a period of Three (3) months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
