ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 particularly, the 2nd respondent to take appropriate legal action on the the petitioner's complaint dated 30.04.2026.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent police with regard to job racketing to the tune of Rs.3,00,000/-. It was further submitted that, despite the complaint, no effective action has been taken by the respondent police. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the enquiry is pending. It was further submitted that the petitioner has not cooperated for the said enquiry. 2/4

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this petition, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 30.04.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the ongoing enquiry conducted by the third respondent police.
