This petition has been filed to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, his wife and the petitioner's living house comprised in Survey No.566/2 situated at Sinthampatti village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2018 to the 2nd respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 10.02.2018 has been enquired by the 2nd respondent and the same has been closed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P (MD) No.3279 of 2018 3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner apprehends at the hands of the 3rd respondent, who is none other than the son of the petitioner, who comes daily with drunken mood and attacks the petitioner herein. 4.Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court gives liberty to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint before the 2nd respondent and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with the 3rd respondent, if any prima facie case is made out as against the 3rd respondent and act in accordance with law. 5.With the above observation, this petition is closed.
