ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for a direction to the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Chennai the first respondent herein to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 24.06.2014 in the proper perspective in the light of the provision made under Rule 49(b) of Tamil Nadu and Subordinate Service Rules within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr.S.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if the appeal of the petitioner, dated 24.06.2014, is directed to be disposed of by the first respondent within a stipulated time.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal of the petitioner, dated 24.06.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
