respondent No.2 Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.93 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the defacto complainant has filed a complaint against accused, basing on which, a case has been registered in Crime No.93 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 147, 323 and 379 of I.P.C r/w. Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and the investigation is not completed so far and therefore, the petitioner sought for suitable directions.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that after registration of FIR, five accused persons were arrested and produced before the Court and all of them got bail and so far, 11 witnesses were examined. It is submitted that the Wound Certificate of the injured in this case is await from the Hospital and soon after receipt of the same, they will complete the rest of the investigation and file charge sheet. The same is recorded.
4. Considering the submissions made by both sides and also considering the fact that FIR was registered on 11.03.2023, this Criminal 2/4
Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 Police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet before the concerned Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
