Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.40/2019 dated 01.08.2019, whereby the detenu, namely Mahendran, S/o Ramasamy, aged about 34 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 01.08.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.3620, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (XII) DEPARTMENT, dated 23.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
