Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The subject matter of the writ petition pertains to the academic year 2019-20. The said academic year has since passed. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. This writ petition stands dismissed.

3. I make it clear that the rights of the writ petitioner have not been adjudicated. It is open to the petitioner to canvass the said contentions in the appropriate proceedings. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
