ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 994 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent police. 2.The second respondent/defacto complainant made a complaint before the respondent Police alleging that he is running a hotel business in the name and style of 'Hotel Junction Barbeque' at Goripalayam, Madurai, by borrowing money for interest from many persons and he also paid the interest regularly. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, he failed to pay the interest for the amont he borrowed. Due to which, all the money lenders including the petitioner harassed him and his family members by demanding exorbitant interest and the borrowed amount. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Investigating Agency completed the investigation and closed the same as 'Mistake of fact'.

4.Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the second respondent to file appropriate

petition before the jurisdictional Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
