This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in crime No.68 of 2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that in this case, the respondent police conducted investigation and filed the final report and the same has been taken cognizance in Special S.C.No.47 of 2019 on the file of the P.C.R. Court, Ramanathapuram and hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

CRL.O.P (MD) No.3682 of 2018 3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the Special S.C.No.47 of 2019 on the file of the P.C.R. Court, Ramanathapuram.
