Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.189 of 2022 on the file of the Viralimalai Police Station, the fourth respondent herein and to entrust the same to the CBCID, Pudukottai, the third respondent herein with a direction to the third respondent to investigate into the same trace, the culprit and find the whereabouts of the petitioner's wife, namely, Saraswathi in the crime and file charge sheet in accordance with law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.189 of 2022 on the file of the fourth respondent and to entrust the same to the third respondent herein with a direction to the third respondent to investigate into the same trace the culprit and find the whereabouts of the petitioner's wife, namely, Saraswathi in the crime and file charge sheet in accordance with law. 2.The case of the petitioner is that his wife was missing. Thereby, he made a complaint before the fourth respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.189 of 2022. Thereafter, the fourth respondent police have not conducted the investigation in a proper manner. Hence, the present petition is filed with the above said prayer.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that during the 2/4

pendency of this petition, the petitioner's wife was again joined with the petitioner and the closure report was also filed on 16.09.2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Illuppur. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
