: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner for the post of Assistant Revenue on the Administrative Officer by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

*********** The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to promote her for the post of Assistant Revenue on the Administrative Officer, by considering her representation dated 29.01.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, seeking promotion to the post of Assistant Revenue on the Administrative Officer, the petitioner sent a representation dated 29.01.2016 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, she has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2016 would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2016, if not considered earlier and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
