ORDER
This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner on the basis of the complaint given by some three persons.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a practising Advocate before this Court. He is no way connected with the crime, which was registered by the second respondent and frequent summons was sent to the petitioner to attend enquiry. Though the petitioner attended the enquiry on 29.09.2021, there is continuous harassment. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based upon the complaint given by one Arsath, a case in Crime No.18 of 2021 has been registered against the wife of the petitioner. Only for the purpose of investigation in the above said crime number, this petitioner was summoned and he did not appear. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14930 of 2021 investigating the above case, the petitioner is called for enquiry. Except that, no harassment was made.
4.Since a case has been registered against the wife of the petitioner, being an Advocate, it is the duty of the petitioner to co-operate with the enquiry officer to complete the investigation. The petitioner is directed to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with him to complete the investigation.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
