: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to transfer investigation of the case in Crime No.131 of 2017, pending on the file of the second respondent Police to any other independent agency or officer under the direct supervision of the first respondent and further to file the final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.131 of 2017, pending on the file of the second respondent Police to any other independent agency.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed in Crime No.131 of 2017 and charge sheet laid on 13.06.2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, as against the accused persons, for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 324 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 3772 of 2018 3.At this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
