ORDER
This matter is came up for consideration on 19.02.2024. On that date, it has been represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case bundle has been handed over to the petitioner along with change of vakalat. Under those circumstances, this Court directed the name of the petitioner to be printed in the cause list and posted the matter for dismissal.
2. Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the petitioner. Further, the petitioner is challenging the award passed by the Labour Court dismissing the relief of reinstatement. The petitioner was aged about 60 years as on the date of filing of the writ petition. By now, the petitioner should be 65 years old and the relief of reinstatement into service may not arise.
3. In the light of the above, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss this writ petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
