ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, tdirecting the 1st respondent to provide adequate monetary compensation for petitioner's deceased son namely; Mohamed Ashik (aged 16 years) from Chief Ministr Accident Relief Fund virtue of G.O.Ms.No.268 dated 18.08.2017 by considering petitioner's representation dated 29.03.2025.
2. The alleged incident occurred on 20.10.2022. The petitioner submitted an application seeking compensation on 09.10.2023 along with all the necessary documents. However, despite this, the respondents have failed to consider the petitioner's application in a positive manner.
3. According to the petitioner, the respondents have merely stated that the application is under consideration, but no final order has been passed by the 1st respondent.

Considering the facts of the case, the 1st respondent is hereby strictly directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.10.2023 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.268 dated 18.08.2017, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
