PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 3rd respondent Police to secure the detenu and produce the body or person of detenu, viz., Duraibala S/o.Pandi, aged 16 years before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to produce the body or person of detenu, namely, Duraibala S/o.Pandi, aged about 16 years before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that his elder son Duraibala, aged about 16 years studying 11th standard in Government Higher Page No.2 of 6
Secondary School, Nilakottai and that he had gone to the School on 24.06.2025 did not return back home. So the petitioner had given a complaint to the third respondent Police in person on 26.06.2025 to take action to find out the whereabouts of his son. Since the third respondent had not take any action, he has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
3. When the matter was listed on 02.07.2025, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor took time and that the matter was again listed on 16.07.2025 and on 16.07.2025, he has filed the status report of the respondent police and thereby the matter was listed today.
4. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's son due to misunderstanding with his father, had gone outside and later he had called his father and returned back home and now he has been produced before this Court.
5. The alleged missing boy Duraibala is present along with his father before this Court today.

6. We enquired the alleged missing boy Duraibala. He submitted that due to misunderstanding with his father, he has gone along with his friend to play foot ball tournament and that he has returned back home and he expressed his willingness to go along with his father and he is not under illegal detention of anybody. The petitioner / father is also present before this Court.
7. Recording the said submissions, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
