Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue the patta for the property in Tirunelveli District, Sankarankovil Taluk, Vadakku Pudur Village, Ayan Punja Lands in Survey Numbers 594/7 admeasuring 0.05.5 Hec, 592/2A admeasuring 0.10.0 Hec, 592/4D admeasuring 0.06.0 Hec, 594/5C1 admeasuring 0.13.0 Hec in the name of the petitioner based on her on line application dated 24.07.2019 within the time fixed by this Court. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue the patta for the property in Tirunelveli District, Sankarankovil Taluk, Vadakku Pudur Village Ayan Punja Lands in Survey Numbers 594/7 admeasuring 0.05.0 Hec, 592/2A admeasuring 0.10.0 Hec, 592/4D admeasuring 0.06.0 Hec, 594/5C1 admeasuring 0.13.0 Hec in the name of the petitioner based on her on line application dated 24.07.2019.

2.Heard Mr.T.Selvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.In order to get patta, which stands in the name of the petitioner's husband in respect of the land in Survey Numbers 594/7 admeasuring 0.05.0 Hec., 592/2A admeasuring 0.10.0 Hec., 592/4D admeasuring 0.06.0 Hec., 594/5C1 admeasuring 0.13.0 Hec., at Vadakku pudhur village, Sankarnkovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner has given a representation on 24.07.2019 to the respondent. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation/application made to the respondent is decided on merits and orders are passed to that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18314 of 2019 effect thereon, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation/application of the petitioner dated 24.07.2019 would be decided by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, after hearing the petitioner as well as the other rival claimants, if any.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, of course, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, and needful shall be done and final order shall be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
