For Respondent : Mr.T.SENTHIL KUMAR, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.303 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) & 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.303 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 20.09.2021, the petitioner was found in possession of 1,200 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case has been registered against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is having five previous cases in (i) Crime Nos.35 of 2016, 927 of 2020, 06 of 2021 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.14998 of 2021 of Cumbum South Police Station, (ii) Crime Nos.189 of 2021, 220 of 2021 of Gudalur South Police Station.

5. Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
