This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to clean and maintain the storm water channel passing through Vivekanandar Street, Ganapathy Nagar, Villapuram, Ward 59, Zone III, Madurai Corporation.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent Corporation submitted that the cleaning and maintaining of the storm water is done on a regular basis.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that only a slab is being put over the storm water channel and insofar as cleaning and maintaining of the same, the same is regularly done by the Corporation.

4. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
