ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct preliminary investigation of the complaint of the Petitioner dated 26.03.2026 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 02.03.2026, the proposed accused quarrel with the petitioner's mother and tried to take possession of the petitioner's property. In this regard, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent police, no action has been taken. Hence this writ petition.

3. The Government Advocate on inspection submitted that it is clearly a civil dispute between the petitioner and the proposed accused and a civil suit in OS.No.4 of 2025 on the file of the Additional Subordinate Court, Tirunelveli, is pending and now the matter is posted for mediation. In the meanwhile, the petitioner had come before this Court.

4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner is directed to resolve the dispute by properly cooperating with the mediation which has been initiated by the learned Subordinate Judge, Tirunelveli, in O.S.No.4 of 2025 and to solve that dispute.
