PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the official respondents 1 to 6 to take action against the private respondents 7 to 16 for ex-communicating the petitioner and his family in the Salapatti Village and to forbear the private respondents 7 to 16 from conducting Katta Panchyat and imposing punishment to vacate the dwelling house and to go out from the village including the ex-communication in the village and consequently ensure that the petitioner's and his family lead a peaceful life with dignity in their address at Salappatti Village.

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to direct the official respondents 1 to 6 to take action against the private 2/5

respondents 7 to 16 for ex-communicating the petitioner and his family in the Salapatti Village and to forbear the private respondents 7 to 16 from conducting Katta Panchyat and imposing punishment to vacate the dwelling house and to go out from the village including the ex-communication in the village and consequently ensure that the petitioner's and his family lead a peaceful life with dignity in their address at Salappatti Village.

2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the 6th respondent police has received the petitioner's representation, dated 17.05.2022 and the same is pending for enquiry.

3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the sixth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.05.2022 and to take suitable action on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
