O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission to conduct sports programme "Kapadi will be held on 27.02.2016 to 28.02.2016 at Sri Arulmighu Muthu Mariamman Thiru Kovil, Thayanur, Soparasampettai Taluk, Trichy District and to give necessary police protection to the said programme.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration the antecedents of the petitioner and his capacity to conduct the tournament and all other factors including communal and law and order factors and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ law, expeditiously, preferably on or before 27.02.2016. In the event of

the authorities deciding to give permission, the same should include the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1474 of 2016 dated 22.01.2016.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.No costs.
