ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.164 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to money dispute, on 04.07.2023 at about 07.00 p.m., the accused had abused and assaulted the defacto complainant and https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.12724 of 2023 also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and not committed any such offence, as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the injured is still taking treatment in hospital and prayed to dismiss the petition. 5.Considering the nature of the case and fact that the injured is still taking treatment in hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
