Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records and quash the FIR in Cr.No.79 of 2018 in respect of the petitioner alone holding that the complaint given by the second respondent on 09.02.2018 to Sivagangai Town P.S seized with the above Cr.No.79 of 2018 is untenable.

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Cr.No.79 of 2018 dated 09.02.2018 registered on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) for the first respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that after registering FIR, the first respondent proceeded with the investigation and found that the petitioner herein is no way connected with the crime and as such, the name of the petitioner was deleted from the FIR and completed the investigation insofar as the other accused persons A1 to A4 concerned.
