O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.M.P.No.3018 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirupattur.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the alleged cheque was issued as security purpose only and there was absolutely legally enforceable debt by the petitioner to the second respondent. He would further submit that the petitioner is a retired bank Manager and he is also living in Hyderabad.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds no merits in the petition and the instant Criminal Original Petition has simply adjourned for the past two years. Therefore, the petition is devoid of merits. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial proceedings within a period of Six
