ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.103/16 and file a final report within the periods stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No. 103 of 2016, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police seeks two months time to complete the investigation.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.103 of 2016 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
