ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2025 to issue patta in respect of the property situated in Natham Survey No.392 with an extent of 925 sq.feet in Kottapalayam Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.
2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under sale deed dated 28.03.1988 and has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property by putting a residential house for the past 35 years. However, patta has not been issued in his name. Hence, he submitted a representation before the respondents on 13.08.2025 seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the competent authority, the third respondent, in accordance with law.
4. In view of same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a
period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
