This petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.46 of 2018 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Devadanapatti Police Station, Theni against the petitioners.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that insofar as the second petitioner is concerned, the respondent police deleted his name and completed the investigation and filed a final report against the first petitioner alone. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the first petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
