This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent No. 1 to withdraw and transfer the investigation the case in Crime No. 3 of 2018 on the file of the respondent No. 4 and to entrust the same to the respondent No. 2 for complete the investigation within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard both sides.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4545 of 2018 3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the fourth respondent has registered a case in Crime No.3 of 2018 and proceed with the investigation and so far 12 witnesses were investigated pertaining to the crime, but, they did not trace the accused person. Further, he submitted that he about to complete the investigation. 4.Under these circumstances, transfer of investigation would affect the entire investigation. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to monitor the investigation by the fourth respondent and also ensure that they shall complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
