This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) for the respondent police. 3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that totally there are seven accused in Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent. After completing investigation, they have filed charge sheet as against six accused, by deleting one accused. As against which, the defacto complainant viz., second respondent herein filed a protest petition and it is pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P (MD) No.13151 of 2019 Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
