ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to survey his land situated in Survey No.1035/1 to the extent of 4 ares at Arimalam Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under two sale deeds dated 15.06.2011 and 14.09.2011. Subsequently, patta for the subject property also issued in the name of the petitioner in the proceedings of the first respondent dated 28.06.2013 in P.T.R. 785/2013, P.S.R.6/1423. The property purchased by the petitioner was assigned with new survey No.135/1. Now the petitioner submitted an application before the first respondent on 09.10.2024, followed by a representation seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come up with this writ petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner failed to file proper online application. Therefore, his request has not been considered.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit proper online application before the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing such online application, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of eight weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
