O R D E R

The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) who takes notice for the first and second respondents would submit that the representation dated 03.12.2020 submitted by the petitioner was closed on 16.12.2020 in Current Petition No.G3/43591/2254/2020 after conducting due enquiry. His further contention is that, based on the representation made by the petitioner that he would settle the dispute before the appropriate forum, the said complaint was disposed of.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the second respondent coerced the petitioner to make such an endorsement before him.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first respondent / Superintendent of Police is directed to look into the representation dated 03.12.2020 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of three https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.OP(MD).No.15711 of 2020 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order.

5. With the above observations, this petition is disposed of.
