This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for seeking police protection for the life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaints dated 27.02.2018 and 21.03.2018.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection to enable him to have a peaceful stay at his residence and enjoy his agricultural land without any interference of his rivals. Now, more than 1 1⁄2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
