ORDER : The Court made the following order :- 1/3

The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.309 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, on 17.06.2024, the petitioner along with other accused have abused the defacto complainant and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police strongly opposes to the grant of anticipatory bail that this is the second anticipatory bail application and the petitioner is having five previous cases to his credit.

5. Considering the antecedent of the petitioner and since there is no change in circumstances after the dismissal of earlier petition, this Court is not inclined to grant 2/3

anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
